INCLUSIVITY AND EQUITY IN THE TEA SECTOR

WOMEN IN TEA VALUE CHAIN ASSOCIATION (WITEVA) is a
Non-Political, Non-Profit and Non-Religious Association existing
under The Societies Act (Cap 108) in the Republic of Kenya since
founding in 2023.

Our overall is to Promote, Protect and Advocate
for a just gender inclusion in the tea value chain and industry in
Kenya.

PURPOSE

To promote high standards of human rights and labor
rights, including safe working conditions, which are based on the core
ILO Conventions and the Constitution of Kenya 2010, as well as the
ILO Violence and Harassment Convention, and the Convention on the
Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW.)
